Exterior Paint

What’s a better way to give your house a new look than to paint it all in a new color? Let us help you give a new light to your house with the right color. Your Prime Contractor provides professional exterior painting whether your paint is starting to pill and you want to put a new layer on it, or you want to redo the whole exterior with a new color. You can choose whether you want to use regular paint, which will add color to your house, or use tex-cote to make your house more energy efficient.

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS TEX-COTE?

Tex-cote, or texture coating, is a different way to paint your house rather than the regular paint. It is much more energy efficient than regular paint. We recommend our customers to use tex-coating for several reasons:

  1. Unlike paint, tex-cote is waterproof, which means you can wash the dirt off your walls without worrying about mold.
  2. As we mentioned before, it is very energy efficient. While paint absorbs about 90% of the sunlight, tex-cote provides a thicker barrier. In other words, regular paint will absorb the heat from the sun and will make your AC and other appliances work harder, while tex-cote will block the sunray and help you save more than 20% on your monthly bills.
  3. While paint can pill and chip, with tex-cote all you need to do when it soils is to wash it over with a little water pressure.
  4. Living in California means that you always need to be prepared for the next earthquake. Even though earthquakes can cause cracks in regular paint, the thickness of tex-cote will protect your wall and you won’t have to worry about repainting the walls after an earthquake.
