  • The room, what isn't working about it, and roughly when you'd like to start. You don't need a design or exact measurements to reach out. A clear description of the problem is the most useful thing you can send.

  • No. A range you're comfortable with is enough, and it can wait until the first conversation. It helps weigh choices like where to spend on materials you touch every day and where a simpler option does the same job.

  • Yes. Choose Not sure in the brief. Describing what bothers you about the room usually points to the right level, and the service pages have a Find your level tool if you'd like to think it through first.

  • Photos help. Mention in your notes that you have them, along with anything you've saved of rooms you like, so they can be part of the first conversation.
